Tokyo Vice Season 2 Premieres February 8th on HBO Max

Based on the True Crime Memoir of Jake Adelstein

Los Angeles, California - American journalist, Jake Adelstein, plugs himself into the Tokyo Vice police for season 2. Filmed on location in Tokyo, season 2 will take viewers deeper into the city's criminal underworld.

The crime drama is loosely inspired by Adelstein's firsthand account of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police.

Adelstein's book, Tokyo Vice: An American Reporter on the Police Beat in Japan, was published in 2009. The book chronicles his experiences as a reporter for the Yomiuri Shimbun, one of Japan's largest newspapers.

In season 2, Adelstein will continue to investigate the city's criminal underworld. He will also face new challenges, including the threat of violence and the possibility of corruption within the police force.

The first two episodes of Tokyo Vice Season 2 are now streaming on HBO Max. New episodes will premiere weekly on Thursdays.
