Atlanta Dream Signs Destanni Henderson to 7-Day Contract

Henderson's First Contract

The Atlanta Dream have signed free agent guard Destanni Henderson to a 7-day contract, the team announced Friday.

Henderson, 22, was the No. 20 overall pick in the 2022 WNBA Draft by the Indiana Fever. She averaged 5.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 27 games (13 starts) for the Fever last season.

Dream's Offseason Moves

The Dream have been active in the offseason, signing several free agents and making a trade.

They signed guard Tiffany Hayes to a two-year contract, acquired forward Aaliyah Boston in a trade with the Seattle Storm, and re-signed forward Cheyenne Parker.

The Dream also traded guard Erica Wheeler to the Los Angeles Sparks for guard Chennedy Carter.
